Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get the iPhone without porting in my number?
Yes, you can still get your selected iPhone, but the price may vary depending on the type of Lifeline offer you’re eligible for (Default Tribal Lifeline offer or Default Standard Lifeline offer). For instance, if you qualify for the Lifeline Tribal Benefit but don’t successfully port in, you won’t be eligible for the $0 iPhone X under the Tribal Special Promotion. Instead, you’ll receive the same device at the Default Tribal Lifeline offer price of $64.99.
How do I know if I live on eligible Tribal lands?
To find out if you live on eligible Tribal lands, you can ask your provider, check the National Lifeline Accountability Database (NLAD), or use tools like Native-Land.ca or Native Land Digital to see which Tribal territory your address falls under.
What documents do I need to apply?
You may need to provide:
• Proof of identity (ID or driver’s license)
• Tribal benefit letter
• Proof of address
What happens after 3 months of free data?
After 3 months free of high-speed data, you can keep the plan for $30/month or go back to the free Tribal Lifeline plan with 15GB per month.
Can I get the offer if I used AirTalk before?
You are welcome to AirTalk at any time, but if you want to get the free iPhone, you must not have used AirTalk in the past 12 months.
