What Causes Transfer Out?
- Benefit is limited to one per household. This means it cannot be used for both home internet and phone service, or multiple people cannot all sign up for the same benefit at the same address.
- Registering or applying with multiple providers simultaneously may result in your benefits being transferred from one provider to another. It is advisable to register with one provider at a time and wait for a response before attempting to apply with a different provider.
- If you receive a notice from AirTalk stating your benefit was transferred out and you did not authorize this:
- Sign the transfer agreement right away to avoid interruption to service.
- Contact the Lifeline support center and report that your benefit was moved to an unknown provider without your consent:
