1. What happens after I send the SMS?

If you send the SMS follow the predefined syntax to order service from AirTalk:
Our system will:

  • Check if the phone number you used to send the message matches an active AirTalk account and is eligible for the order.
  • If your number matches an active account and is eligible for the order, you'll receive a payment link for your requested order.
  • If your number does not match any active account or the order is not valid, you'll receive an error message.

2. Why did I receive an error message after sending the SMS?

You may receive an error if:

  • Your phone number is not registered with AirTalk Wireless.
  • Your account is inactive.
  • The order request is not valid.

3. What makes an order request via SMS "valid"?

An order request is considered valid if:

  • For Plan Upgrades: The new plan is different from your current plan.
  • For Plan Renewals: You are currently on an upgrade plan.
If your request does not meet these conditions, you'll receive an error message.

4. How can I pay for the order via SMS?

After sending the SMS, if the request is valid, AirTalk will respond with a unique payment link via SMS. Simply click on the link to go to the payment page to complete your transaction and order. Note that the link is valid for 1 hour only and each link can be used one time to complete payment for the requested order.

5. What happens if my payment link expires or is invalid?

Your link will be invalid if:

  • More than 1 hour has passed since it was sent.
  • The order has already been paid for.
If the link is invalid, when clicking at the link, you will be redirected to AirTalk's page with the error message.

6. Where can I check if my purchase was successful?

You should receive a notice via email/SMS shortly after your purchase confirming the successful transaction. You can also always verify your updated services (upgrade plan/data balance/...) and transaction history in your online AirTalk account or the AirTalk mobile app.

7. What are the different ways I can purchase services from AirTalk like adding top-up, upgrade plan,...?

You have a few convenient options:

  • a. Purchase on our website: Log in to your AirTalk account, find the dedicated pages for each service and complete the payment online.
  • b. Send an SMS: Text the following code for each service (e.g., DATA1G) to 61690348
  • c. Call Customer Service: Dial our hotline and follow the guideline to select the service and purchase

8. If I still have data on my main plan, after adding a top-up, which data will be used first?

The system will prioritize using the data from your purchased top-up first. Once the top-up data is fully consumed, your plan data will then be used.

9. Can I apply vouchers when purchasing top-up/upgrade plan/...via SMS
